Kristen specializes in counseling children (beginning at age 4), adolescents, and adults. Kristen has experience helping clients deal with a variety of issues and concerns including: ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, childhood behavioral concerns, depression, grief/loss, mindfulness development, parent coaching, and self-esteem. In her work with clients, Kristen utilizes a variety of treatment techniques including: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play-Based Therapy for children, Attachment Based models of therapy, and more. Kristen utilizes a focus on faith and God’s healing power throughout her treatment with clients.
Education: Kristen has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Western Michigan University.
