Jennifer Potter

Jennifer Potter received a master’s degree through Grand Valley State University. She has a limited license in social work through the State of Michigan. She has been working in crisis intervention since 2018 in behavioral health at Community Mental Health and a Psychiatric hospital working with adults and children.
She has a heart for individuals who have suffered trauma, loss, abandonment, depression, anxiety, identity disorders, and all the overwhelming emotions that come with everyday trials. She wants to be able to share hope through exploring healing through the power of God. Life is too hard to do it on our own. We need each other to support and encourage us. Jennifer believes that we learn from each other. With guidance through our faith, healing can come.
She works with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-based therapy. She is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectal behavioral therapy and is invested in learning more ways to help her clients.
Jennifer has been married for 7 years. She enjoys spending time with family and will often be at the lake swimming and kayaking with her two labs.
